As we're waiting to see the Citroen Cactus Concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show, our spy photographers captured the very first photos of the new C1, a second generation of the city car currently co-built by PSA and Toyota.
Of course, the fist sighting of the new C1 is not that revealing, the car being extremely well camouflaged. But we can tell it's a citroen from the rounded trapezoidal grille at the bottom of the front fascia, like the one on the C4 Picasso.
It appears that like most of other city cars coming out right now, the wheelbase is being enlarged to create more legroom.
Back in late August, we showed you the new Toyota Aygo, similarly well camouflaged. We'd say the mirrors and the whole greenhouse are identical, so the Aygo, C1 and 107 are still related. All three are expected to debut in 2014 and will be assembled in the TPCA factory in the Czech Republic.
